All service providers should be aware that there have been recent reports of scammers targeting Home Care Package recipients via phone.

Information on scams and the ability to report them can also be done via the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s website ‘Scamwatch’

Transforming Health Care Campaign

The Transforming Health Care campaign is a government-funded national campaign initiated by the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP), which is the national peak body for Nurse Practitioners and advanced practice nurses in Australia.

An Easy English resource on making a complaint about a Victorian public mental health service has been developed.

The new resource is for a broad range of Victorians, including consumers, families and carers who have intellectual disability or psychosocial disability, or who come from culturally diverse backgrounds.

Expressions of interest (EOIs) are invited from Victorian local governments or regional library service organisations interested in participating in Round 1 of Libraries After Dark. Successful applicants will receive grants of up to $32,000 per year for two years. Funded programs will start in December 2019.
